Once you know you need to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, the question becomes how much will filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cost me? Obviously, the cost to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is dependent upon who you use and what they agree to do for that price. At Kain & Scott we have a set fee for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. If you pay us in full, we charge you $1975.00. This includes the file fees, credit courses, and attorney fees
If you make payments to us, we charge you $375.00 down, and the balance of our fees (2k) over the course of time at payments of $100.00-$200.00 per month, interest free, your choice, assuming someone signs a promissory note for you for 2k. It is more costly to make payments to us, not because of interest, because there is no interest, but because we have to have extra people hired to collect those payments.
Be very careful about what you get for these fees. For example, some law firms will charge you extra fees to remove judgments, sometimes costing in the range of $400.00-$600.00 per judgment to remove. At Kain & Scott, we have a FREE 90-Day Credit Repair Program where we remove judgments for FREE (you pay the costs- usually $50.00 per judgment.)
Fees are always interesting but you also pay for what you get. At Kain & Scott, not only are we Minnesota’s oldest bankruptcy law firm we are also Minnesota’s highest google reviewed bankruptcy law firm as well.
When you are ready, or when the time is right, reach out to Minnesota highest google reviewed bankruptcy law firm at www.kainscott.com. You will be glad you did! We have never had a client yet regret getting their life back- they just regret they didn’t file sooner!
